Another week, another tremendous schedule for European NBA fans. We have two games nice and early at 5.10pm before one more in the 7.40pm slot before a tasty line-up through the night.
We’re really into the business end of the season and although it might seem crazy to say we are now into the final month of the regular season, with the final round of games scheduled for Sunday April 13th.
We have a pretty good idea of most of the teams at the top of both conferences but those races at the bottom are fascinating.
In the East 10 games separate the Bulls in tenth and the Bucks in fourth whilst in the West you have ten games between the Mavericks down in tenth and the Nuggets all the way up in second.
Things are tight and could potentially change a lot between now and the end of the season. Our basketball guru, Peter Sharland, is on hand to give his best bets for the games…

5.10pm: Magic @ Cavs
Evan Mobley total points and rebounds – over
The Cavs continue to roll, their current win streak is now up to 16 and they are looking like a lock for the No. 1 seed in the East and perhaps to finish with the best record in basketball full stop. The Magic have had some fun results recently but they are still just so maddeningly inconsistent and it’s hard to see them stopping Cleveland here.
We’re still waiting to see what happens with Donovan Mitchell and his injury status for this one but in his stead Evan Mobley has continued to rock and should do so again in this one.
5.20pm: 76ers @ Mavericks
Quentin Grimes to score 25+ points
This is a sad game to watch, two teams we thought could be in their respective conference finals but instead might be on the outside looking in. The 76ers are pretty much done for the year and the Mavericks are heading that way after ANOTHER injury in their embarrassing loss to Texas rivals Houston last time out.
These teams as a whole have been decimated by injuries this season and whilst this could have been a cream of the top clash it’s anything but. However, injuries do open the door for other players and we’ve really liked what former New York Knicks darling (not to mention ex-Maverick) Quentin Grimes has been doing and he should get plenty of points in this one too.
7.40pm: Suns @ Lakers
Luka Doncic to score 30+ points
The Lakers have been floundering a bit with LeBron James’ injury and after looking like a threat for the second seed in the West they’ve dropped down to fifth. The Suns are very much in the play-in race but the Kevin Durant era in the desert looks like it’ll end with a whimper rather than a bang.
We still like Durant to do something here and with Luka Doncic back after missing the Denver loss with an injury he should also get the Lakers firing again.
Monday 1.10am: Thunder @ Bucks
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander total points – over
The big one of the night, the Thunder keep rolling at the top of the West having split a two-game series with Denver then handling the defending champions in Boston. They now travel to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks, who are fighting at the top of the East, trying to in fourth and hold off Indiana and Detroit.
Giannis Antetokounmpo total rebounds – over
This is a big game with some big players who come alive in contests like this, we fancy both SGA and Giannis to put up in this one.
