The Cavs made this series semi-interesting with a surprise Game 2 victory in Boston but not even Lebron James in the crowd back in Cleveland could lift them past the team with the best record in the league, so now they’re facing down the barrel of elimination back in TD Garden for Game 5.
Their hopes in Game 4 weren’t helped by Donovan Mitchell’s absence, but, as so often happens when a team’s star player is out, others found themselves getting more looks and they could’ve eked out at 2-2 in the series but for some positively stinking three-point shooting later in the game – they went 9-for-41 after a 6-for-7 start from long-range.
It means the Celtics now have one foot in the Conference title game and we’d expect them to start this game hard and aim to kill off the series quickly whether Mitchell returns or not.
To that end, we’ve seen Jayson Tatum log 12 full minutes in each of their last five games with Kristaps Porzingis out and he’s expected to remain so tonight. In four of those five games he’s gone over 8.5 points in the first 12 minutes and we’ll take him to do it again.

Assuming the Celtics play up to the massive 15.5-point favourites spread, we could see some additional opportunities later in the game for their bench players.
Payton Pritchard has shown in three of the last four games in this series that he’s capable of surpassing this number and if this is a comfortable home win there’s every reason to think he does it again.

Things are much tighter in the Western Conference semi-final tonight, with the series tied at two games apiece and each team winning and losing a home game so far.
It surely means advantage OKC with two of the remaining three possible games on their court, but their last appearance here was a surprise loss willed by the faltering Luka Doncic.
His points-per-game in the playoffs looks fine at around the 27-point mark, but his percentages are through the floor, especially from three-point range. It’s meant that others have had to step up for the Mavericks.
Kyrie Irving’s over is tempting tonight as he should bounce back from a 9-point effort in Game 4, but PJ Washington has been red-hot from long-distance throughout the series, shooting over 50% from outside and the odds on him making at least three buckets from outside the arc are perfect for a Multi-Match Bet Builder.
