The Major League Baseball World Series rolls on this week with game 5 at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx tonight and the home side are hanging on by their finger nails with the series score sitting at 3-1 following an 11-4 victory on Tuesday night.
Our home-run hitter Andrew Cunneen is not expecting a New York rally to take it back to LA though. Here’s his LA Dodgers @ New York Yankees Bet Builder for what should be a decisive game 5…
World Series Game 5 tips

Los Angeles Dodgers to Win
Well, they’re not quite there yet.
It’s true that nobody has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a World Series, and while the Yankees’ Tuesday win only makes it a smidgen more likely to transpire, it still gives them hope.
But no team who has ever trailed 3-0 has ever won a Game 6, either.
They’re going to have to keep knocking down historical records in order to get this one over the line and it’s just hard to envisage.
Not because they’re getting more from the bottom of their order from the top. Not because you, the reader, would put together better at-bats than Giancarlo Stanton at the moment. Not because momentum exists.
But because the cost the Yankees paid to stay alive isn’t going to aid them in the short-term at all. In fact, them opening it up and winning as well as they did was the killshot.
Roberts was able to roll with their mid-leverage relievers instead of chasing the win as the Yankees padded their lead.
Now, coming into Game 4, none of the Yankees’ relievers are working with rest – they’re all being activated again to salvage the series.
Meanwhile, the Dodgers have six members of their bullpen feeling fantastic. Those names include Blake Treinen, Michael Kopech, Anthony Banda and Alex Vesia.
This series ends tonight.
Over 8.5 Runs
And it’s that short rest which could spell trouble for the Yankees late on.
How many different arms do you go through in order to keep your season alive, knowing that you’re prolonging the inevitable if the Dodgers aren’t sacrificing their key bullpen pieces in situations like Game 4?
They’re going to have to over-extend a bullpen arm and get caught for it.
Now, in saying that, while Jack Flaherty and Gerrit Cole faced off already and basically played out a tie, Cole was pulled early – indicating that something may have been amiss.
Of course, New York will claim otherwise, but imagine they only get 80 or so pitches again from Cole, and the bullpen has take up five or so innings?
Freddie Freeman to Record an RBI
Freeman has raked. He’s hitting home runs like they’re going out of fashion. And on a night where the Dodgers weren’t great offensively, it was still the injured Freeman who sparked them with an early-game two-run shot.
They know they can’t afford to pitch him over the plate anymore, so I’d expect Freeman to be able to sit on off-speed and wait for one to drive in runs rather than moonshot them.
Jack Flaherty to record over 5.5 strikeouts
Had Flaherty not turned his form around, the Dodgers would not have made it past the NLDS. And yet here they are, en route to winning it all. He’s a huge reason why. Now easily their best pitching option after the Japanese wonder, his stuff, velocity and location all seem locked in.
As the Yankees chase early-game run support so they don’t need to waste bullpen arms, expect Flaherty to gather plenty of misses.
