Paul Nicholls

Paul Nicholls is one of the leading British National Hunt trainers of his generation. His wins include the 2012 Grand National and a quartet of Cheltenham Gold Cups, and he has been Champion Trainer in the UK on a whopping ten occasions.

Before becoming a trainer, he was also a successful jockey but retired after breaking a leg in 1989.

He writes a regular column for Betfair, and is a massive Man United fan. But don’t hold that against him.
