If you’re reading this and own a parka, you’re probably knee-deep in your credit union statements to see if they’ll give you an interest-free loan to attend these Oasis gigs.
And who could blame you? The biggest pop culture moment since Michael Jackson at the Super Bowl halftime show?
It makes Taylor Swift’s Eras tour look like a busker having a midlife crisis on a high street.
But to spare you the bother of having to re-mortgage the gaff to hear a man in his fifties add even more syllables to the word sunshine, we’ve totted up some of the best bets you can avail of when it comes to the Gallagher brothers, and maybe pay back a sibling loan almost instantly.
Alright, kid?
Oasis’ First Song: Hello
So, we need to remember two things. The first is that these boys love irony. Having a song where they harmonise the line ‘it’s good to be back, it’s good to be back – hello’ is too tempting for them to pass up.
That, and the fact it’s the opening track of What’s The Story (Morning Glory)? – which will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025.
It all just makes sense.
Rock n’ Roll Star is third in the betting, but it’s an appalling selection primarily because it’s now more associated with Liam’s solo sets than anything else.
Acquiesce is a decent runner, but it would be too sensitive to have Noel shouting ‘because we need each other’ at his brother, who he’s been lambasting in the press for a decade and a half for his carry-on.
If you’re keen on a big price, Go Let It Out is worth a punt. Twenty-five years on from their disgraceful run of nights in Wembley, where Liam acted the part and ruined a live recording, which had to be altered beyond belief for their Familiar to the Millions album, seems like a make-up act.

I’m telling you, it would be hilarious for Liam to say he’s free from his new-age Tory, older brother on the day the Americans celebrate their independence from the old-age Tories.
Not that I expect Liam to be well-read in historical events. He probably thinks the Boston Tea Party occurred in Lincolnshire in the 1980s.
I don’t anticipate this happening of course, but at the prices, at least you can take some financial comfort in knowing that one of the best days of your life was taken away from you.

Now, what I will say is that Noel has been spotted entering the studio. He’s laid down a tonne of lyrics and chord progressions over the years that he’s felt really weren’t suited to his solo project.
Even his best release to date – Dead in the Water – wasn’t released under his High Flying Birds moniker.
So it’s entirely conceivable that he gets a few session musicians in, drops some bass riffs and a drum track or two – and invites Liam to sing on them before they play in Cardiff.
Liam’s also got plenty of material that he was working on for a new album. Remember, this wasn’t planned well in advance, and it’s worth noting that these two were ready to release new material in the next eighteen months.
There’s likely four albums’ worth of music ready to be rolled out – and why would they not cash in on the sales when the melodies are lying dormant in their beautiful Burnage brains?
